Interesting. Are you able to connect the Game Gadget to a TV too?

How's the performance with the arcade games? "Final Fight" and "Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting" in particular, if you have those.

Neogenesis,
All the cps1, 2 games play perfectly on the gamegadget, but on the mame emulator, they are slow and have sound issues.
Final fight and street fighter are perfect, Tv out is supposed to work, but does not.

Ah, that's cool. Those are my favorite Capcom arcade games. It's too bad the MAME stuff has issues though. It's weird that the TV out doesn't work too. Is that a common issue with the Game Gadget?

I really want to get Metal slug working on my game gadget. I've got some roms that wont load at all and some that the loading bar progresses along and then the rom just freezes before the game starts. has any one had any success in getting metal slug to work

I don't have a game gadget, though I've played Metal Slug in MAME. I know for that, you need the Neo Geo bios file and put it wherever the roms are.

Forget metal slug and the neogeo and mame games. They play very slow on the gamegadget unless you can install a new updated mame emulator.
These work okay so far,
Snes, Capcom 1 + 2 Nes GB Atari Megadrive, mastersystem
Play fine, so far

What are the specs for this? Does it have a faster CPU than the NGX?

There is no GameGadget 2.0, its the stock they couldn't sell with a reflashed open source OS. Only you can't get the source code so it doesn't qualify as open source.
I really do not recommend wasting your money on it, mine was literally falling apart and covered in black fingerprints from reflashing. I would heed the comments all over the net and save your money.

Mine was fine from funstock, never had a problem for the price. I just downloaded the source image and everything works from there.

The quality is not important.Just wanted one for my daughter, she's five and always wants to play nes and sms games, but it think she is too young for the expensive consoles, thats the reason why i dont want to spend too much money for her first console.when she brokes the game gadget it's easyer to live with that.better as crushing a expensive console^^ But funstock is no option to order.everything you import to bavaria thats more than 30€ cost and official buyed (with bill etc.) will be added with taxes on the german toll -.-
