Hello guys.
Hope i'm not too late with this.
I recently got myself an NGX after sparking up a passion for playing old Neo Geo games. When looking through my options i found out about the NGX and after reading up, I decided to pick one up for myself. Overall i'm very happy with it. My only small gripe is the fairly poor picture quality when hooked up through the dock (through both HDMI or AV). My TV is very large though so that doesn't help. I guess i'm used to playing the few Neo Geo games i have from the PSN on my PS3 which are really nice ports all in 1080p. Anyway, i expected the not-so-great quality when i bought it so it's not a huge problem for me. For what it is, the NGX is all good for me as i can still have alot of fun playing.
That's enough about my situation. I guess i'll cut to my question:
I've been reading up about the Jailbreak, it's something i'd definitely like to do. I've found out where to buy the NGX Tool. I've read through these forums and found out what needs to be done. The thing is, i'm not the most computer savvy person about. I had a go at converting ROMs and it's getting to the point where i'm scratching my head a little. It's soo time consuming and the conversions mostly keep on failing and renaming to random numbers etc.
I wondered if there is anybody still knocking about here that would be kind enough to send me the all the NeoGeo bios'd ROMS. i'm not particularly interested in other games, just the AES / MVS ones. I found this video online of a guy who has them all neatly arranged on his NGX:
I really dig this! All the files neatly arranged in categorized folders with icons. Very complete looking. Very cool.
If anybody has something like this and is able to send me the file structure so all i would have to do would be to put the files on my NGX i'd really appreciate that. I'd also be happy to send over a little $$ as a way to show my gratitude. Please let me know if this is possible.
Thanks!
