OK, I've figured out Genesis, SNES. I've got my RARd PSone games but when I unrar, it still won't see them. What format does my PSone game have to be. Just an FYI I own the PSone game Panzer General. Thanks

OK, got .bin and .cue files. Hmmmmm, now what to do what to do. *scratches head*
Doesn't seem to do anything on the NGX. I'll crack this nut hopefully. Doesn't seem anyone can help. Where's a super hero when you need one.
Got almost every SNES, Genesis, NES, Master System, and VCS that I wanted. No fluff, just good stuff. Ah NGX thank you for being so awesome. LOL at those big collection guys on YouTube shitting on the NGX to protect their huge multi thousand dollar collections. Those have their place, but the NGX is my favorite emulator machine. So small and portable and the controls are great.
Anyway, once I crack PSone it will officially be done. Any help appreciated.

I just recently started playing around with the PS1 emulator myself. It's pretty fun to tinker around with!
I started a New thread on PS1 games, but seeing this, I should've posted my new thread here.

Quick note: It seems the PS1 emulator recognizes more than one image file type as my Battle Arena Toshinden is in the format .img/.cue while the rest of mine are the typical .bin/.cue.
I could format Toshinden to .bin using the .cue file in IsoBuster, but since it works, why change it?

Well a few months on and I have to say I love this thing. I pop it in its dock and I'm playing all my 16bit systems on my TV, take it with me I have a wonderful hand held. just hate all the bullshit videos on youtube trashing the NGX, especially about build quality. What a bunch of bullshit, this thing is well built. So what if its emulating NeoGeo, I had an AES since launch, and sold it a few years ago when I went emulation. There is no reason to own the AES in my opinion if you're just a normal person. I'm a die hard gamer, had an AES when they were new, and think the AES zealots on youtube are some of the most crazed fucking people on earth.

Amen.
I think you are right that a lot of people have a vested interest in maintaining the myth that unless you are playing on the original AES you are missing out in a big way.
IMO there is no way to justify the prices of certain AES carts, especially with the minimal difference vs emulation.
If you really have the itch, then just buy a NGCD.
