I have seen some online vids, where the user is playing the X through HDMI on 32 inch TVs and the output looks great.
I know on my TVs the output looks like a Busted Ass through HDMI.
Can anyone recommend a good TV model for great HDMI output for the Neogeo X.

Sprites look great on my 32" Sanyo. I also have an Insignia, and for some reason, the img quality is noticeably really bad. Not sure why.

Maybe the OP can bring the NGX handheld and the mini HDMI to the store next time he's shopping for TV's? LOL

Yes, using an upscaler of any kind with the NGX is a useless endeavour. It adds to the input lag for everything.

Ah, that's unfortunate. Thanks for the heads up. I guess the only real way to do it is with the Framemeister. I've heard good things about it, but the downside is the price as I've mentioned.

Just gonna throw this in here: The converter used in the video is one of these I believe: www.amazon.co.uk/Ex-Pro-AV-Pro-Converter-Upscaler-Output/dp/B00ABNY6BKThe reason I bring this up is because I just cannot for the life of me see any screen tearing in any of this guys videos. He does mention somewhere that the upscaler removed most of his tearing. I find this quite interesting. Very tempted to try it out, although as previously mentioned in this thread they can add to input lag. However, most new TVs have display speed options for gamers which can reduce input lag, I tested the display speed option on my sony bravia tv with my NGX on Alpha Mission II and the difference was night and day. No input lag whatsoever now on my NGX. That was without a converter though..

Not sure if the issues are due to rez, my wii only output 480p and looks supurb on my tv, but the X looks like decroted dog crap. The screen tearing is ok to live with, but the colour bleeding is terrible. I actually dont think the X outputs 480p, I think it upscales its naitive rez to 1080p and does a terrible, terrible job of it, but strange thing is, when I connect it to my haupage tv card on my pc, the windowed image looks clear and crisp.. Very srrange..

Anyone here has a XRGB Mini Framemeister? The image should be superb with that one using HDMI in.. I really should invest in one. I miss my scanlines

And what resolution? Scanlines look okay? I got one ordered and I will mainly use it for my regular retro gaming consoles, but it would be a nice bonus if it somehow works with NGX too!
