Hello Guys, I bought neogeo x few days ago, to relive thewonderful AES experiences of ninetines. I knew that here it's an emulation, but the disappointing thing for me is the joystick. My old arcade aes stick was quite accurate, this one other to be very plastic has a very strange feel. I try to explain better: When I go up or down, once the limit is reached, if I continue to push, the joystick does not stop, but make a further empty movement with a strange noise. It 's normal that?

Mine does that too - although when stick is pushed far right. Extremely annoying.

Yeah what you're describing is normal for the stick. It does feel a little different.

Fellas, the top of the thumbstick of the neo geo console comes off showing a rectangular stick in place with 4 pressure switch on each side. Mine doesn't normally register the upper right corner (sucks for fighting games) until i cut a piece of plastics that the medicine pill are package in and make it fit snugly. Fixes the issues by padding the area that doesn't register as well. Save me buying a whole new NEOGEOX. Try it.

The spring in the new stick is much weaker. Replacing it with a stronger part does help.

Anyone figure out how to get rid of that thumping effect?
