Hey gang!
I've decided to sell my NGX and I figured I'd offer it up to you guys first!
I have the handheld, the dock, the charger, as well as the Rocket Cable and X-Card.
I really don't know what a good deal on it is, so if anyone's interested, make an offer and we'll talk.
I like in Central Florida if you want to know what shipping might be like.
Thanks!

Don't do it! What would you buy with the $150-$200 you get for it?

How does the Ouya work? Looking on theweb it seems you canbuy retro gamesbut also purchase emulators? Do the emulators then run off roms from a usb stick/sd card?

I put an usb-hub directly to the ouya and connected my external HDD.Most of the emulators are for free.they are the same u can get on google playstore.the emulators run perfect and i Have More than 32gb of roms for all kinds of consoles.from psx to dreamcast and i love to play all these great games on my full hd without tearing or lags.so for me it was absolutely no failure to sell my ngx.and even if i wish to play neo geo on the way i use my tablet with the ouya controller and can play at work, hospital,on the toilet and also when my wife decide to go shopping and i have to wait hours at gap's

Yeah, I'm in very similar boat. I just wonder if I'll have trouble on eBay with the jail broken software. Is there any way to go back to stock?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using proboards

Don't worry bout that.i sold mine on ebay too, along with the neo geo classics volume 1 (with the original collections you can always roll back from jailbreak to fw 500/500a)a selfmade SD-card adapter,8gb sd card with roms/emulators and the jailbreak already on it.ebay never told me to change the offer or someone else told me i did anything illegal.the only thing you have to do is not to write that roms included, i only wrote "software already pre-installed and ready to plug and play"

To those thinking of selling...
For those who have made up their minds to sell, go ahead, peace be with you.
For the rest of the community, THINK. Why sell, because SNK have pulled the plug? You own a piece of gaming history, the last hurrah of the Neo Geo, something unique that we will never see the likes of again. For those who have the Mega Pack, you have legally acquired a heap of SNK games you can continue to enjoy on your NGX devices and other emulators for years to come. You OWN all those titles for a fraction of their cost on old cartridges. You are among the lucky few who saw through the lies of the fascists on that OTHER EVIL SITE, who don't care at all about SNK or the Neo Geo, only the value of their outrageous investments. In years to come, your NGX hardware will be rarer and probably more obscure than theirs. You also own a great arcade stick which will work with emulators on Android tablets and Mini-PC sticks, Raspberry Pi's, laptops, and PCs of every make and OS.
And more than that... You own an amazing handheld that transforms into a great console. Don't give up because of the lack of vision of a company who are only SNK by name, don't judge your own enjoyment on the value others ascribe. Even if you get copies of those games you own and continue playing day-to-day on some other solution, pack your NGX away or put it on display for safekeeping, don't sell it for short term gain. Keep it!
I promise you, if you sell up, if you you give up, you will face a point in the future when you will look back and wonder what the hell you were thinking. I did it years ago with the NGPC and I am still trying to repair that bad decision.
Keep your NGX, even if you store it and use something else daily, keep the community alive and moreover keep the faith.
SNK FOREVER!!

Well said Darth Gecko! This is exactly how I feel and why I never sell anything video game related. I feel an obligation to my hobby to do my best to preserve every bit of gaming merchandise I acquire for future generations to enjoy. This is not why I buy, but why I never sell.

I love my neogeo x. I have no intentions of selling. A great piece of kit.

Really well said - it is said that this system has been destroyed by the internet before it ever hada chance to live and grow. That said, would we have ever ended up with the jailbreak if the plug had not been plugged?
