My USB gamepad came from eBay today. With the OTG cable I have and my Android tablet, it makes a pretty nice retro gaming system: 1x USB SNES style gamepad in black - £3.40 1x USB OTG cable - £0.99 plus one Android tablet (Hudl). Emulators used: 2600.emu GBA.emu GBC.emu MD.emu NEO.emu NGP.emu NES.emu PCE.emu SuperGNES Everything works really well once the gamepad is configured for each emulator, been playing Mario Kart, Metal Slug X and Zelda all day. Maybe an option for some of you out there.

I played the last 2 years retro games with an snes usb pad and a hdmi cable connected to my tablet on my lcd tv.it's a good and cheap solution for people who have already a tablet.but since my wife always use my tablet for candy crush and other devilish crap i use more and more my raspberry pi for playin old school games.i like the amiga emulator with keyboard and mouse support on the pi

That's a really nice option for Tablet gamers! I can't control the vast majority of retro games on touchscreen, unless they're simple, or turn based RPGs. This would make a HUGE difference

This would make a HUGE difference It makes an enormous difference. I've been playing for days with it, all the other Neo Geo games that I don't have on the X are really playable now, plus NGPC games with a big, lit screen are a joy to play. Plus my tablet has HDMI out too, which is even better! I'd recommend to anyone with an Android device with a USB host to give it a try, a few pounds (or dollars) and it's a cost-effective way of enjoying so many games.

My partner has an Acer Iconia a200 tablet, older tablet, but still runs the Neo.emu (and i'm sure it does other, Neo-Geo is really the only one I used on it)...but the advantage is, the Acer Iconia a200 has full size USB on the side for plugging in USB drives (thumb drives, external hard drives and even game pads).....I played some Garaou Mark of the Wolves on the tablet and it worked just fine......but that was before I got my NGX....no need to use a tablet (regardless of the bigger screen) when I can use the NGX

Well yeah, playing the NGX is cool, but this is a good option for those of us not willing to jailbreak and still wanting extra games.
