Only 4 days to go to raise £60,000 to get the project moving. For those who do not know "Rick Dickinson designed the spectrum and amstrad computers look." Also Elite System are big players in the UK and a long standing old school developer and ported games like Bombjack, Ghosts and goblins, Paperboy, Double Dragon and many others to name a few back in the late 80`s to the home computer scene. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elite_Systemsen.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZX_SpectrumI look forward to seeing the final Bluetooth Spectrum soon and using it on my Android Tablet and look forward to playing Bruce Lee and frank brunos boxing.

It's a great project, I hope it comes to fruition, I understand Funstock has entered into an agreement to sell them. I'll be getting one myself. Another page for it: bluetoothzxspectrum.elite-systems.co.uk/I just hope it doesn't have 'Bluetooth ZX Spectrum' on it like in the mock-ups, just 'Sinclair ZX Spectrum' or 'ZX Spectrum' if they cannot use the Sinclair logo. Fans of Sinclair BASIC may like to know there is a newer re-write for modern machines (NOT an emulator) sites.google.com/site/pauldunn/

After reading about it, it's not worth me backing it. I'm not an iOS user, I use Android and support for that won't come until later. Also I'd want to use it with a Linux machine (or maybe a Raspberry Pi) with a Speccie emulator and all the games I've already got, that seems like an after thought and is not guaranteed to work.
It seems primarily to be an iOS accessory to support the games (which they say will need to be modified) that Elite systems sell via the App Store.
If it makes it to Android and the final product can be used as a standard Bluetooth keyboard, I'd get one for sure.

Cool! I emailed them and asked what they mean by 'selected' Android devices, I'll consider backing it if my device is going to work with it. Otherwise I'll wait and see if it makes it to market.

I didn't get any answers from them. I hope they get to full production with Android and full unrestricted PC (incl. Linux) support.
