I don't know if like me any of you guys have noticed there are two variants of the docking station, one has a Blue SNK logo the other one is White, is the Blue one an early proto' or dev' kit? I only ask because I don't know anyone who has anything other than the White branded one.

That's an early dock. That version didn't even have the lift or the bottom half of the top lid. I believe that it was changed to white before production began, so no blue versions were sold. Also check out the full face screen protector on that one (with a circle cut for the buttons).

Thanks for the heads up, I actually prefer the blue, not that you really ever see the inside anyway, I just do. Just beat Howard again!!! I forgot how addictive Fatal Fury is.

Did you know that the little tray was meant for your extra SD cards (with the lid closed they cannot escape)? Nice move, Tommo. Too bad we won't get any more MegaPacks...

Hi - I've just ordered one of these with the first mega-pack included - when you say there will not be any future game releases is that something you really know for sure or just a guess based on the trouble between SNK and Tommo? If I'm not going to be able to buy any future game packs for it then I will look into the hacking thing. Thanks.

Hello jimwon. There isn't any news on future game releases and the drama between Tommo and SNK is still going on. Both Tommo and SNK have been silent on what's really happening, so nobody knows for sure what the future holds but it's not looking very good at the moment.

Both Tommo and SNK have been silent on what's really happening, so nobody knows for sure what the future holds but it's not looking very good at the moment. It's crazy, from what I can gather it all relates to the fact SNK are super pissed the NEO' X arcade stick works with PS3's and PC's and anything USB or convert-able, this is supposedly Tommo's breach of contract? And because SNK have sticks out for the PS2, Wii and PS3, it's putting them out of pocket, why buy a stick when you can have a stick, handheld and console? It has nothing to do with quality or anything else, it's back to good old SNK greed, this is all based on what I've read and been told, it could be complete bollocks, but it makes more sense than SNK giving a Tommo machine the okay after road testing it, I assume they did, if not they are fucking idiots, and then saying it's poor quality a year later!!! and it damages the already damaged company's brand and quality control. SNK's Pads You may not have seen: PS1/2 Pad: PS3 Pad: Wii Pad:

Hmm, I guess Tommo should've done the stick with a different connection (not USB). SNK did approve it though since it comes with the NGX. If that's the actual reason for the license termination, it looks like SNK somewhat messed up...By the way, do you know if the PS3 pad works with NGX?

I believe it might, but I don't own one, so I am not 100% on that one, every USB stick or pad I've tried thus far hasn't worked with my 'X System, but the actual 'X Stick seems to work perfectly well with a bunch of other systems PS3 being one.

Well, it would, Linux should pickup any USB joystick. The problem is there is no method for us to map the PS3 buttons.
