Mmmmm. Probably the sharpest looking PCE in my opinion. PCE/TG16 is the only console I have yet to own. I have always lusted after one. I love the style of cartridge/card.

It is in amazing condition, the console is absolutely mint - the controller isn't far off either and still has the plastic film over the front shiny part Seriously happy with my purchase! I have to say though - the TG16 is an utter travesty in terms of design - the Japanese PC Engine is a thing of utter beauty whereas the American version truly sucks arse. Just like the yanks to ruin everything they touch!

Nice. Do you have any games for it already? Is it region free? I've never played PC Engine or TG-16.

I've ordered Final Soldier, a Doraemon puzzle game and Street Fighter 2. Also a multitap as these only come with one controller port. Just need a couple of six button pads for street fighter but I'm in no rush.

Nah, not for me. Where's the fun in collecting the games? With something like the X you know it's all emulation and roms etc, but I would like to build a physical library of games for this classic machine

I agree. While emulation is pretty convenient and less expensive, there's some things that you just want to collect for.

Totally not Neo Geo related, but hey. What with the Retron5 being pushed back until next year, I decided to reignite another gaming passion of mine - so I ordered a PC Engine Core Grafx from Japan, replacing the one I so foolishly sold several years ago. I very excite! That is a really nice looking console, I almost bought one years ago. What would folk recommend as a selection of great PC Engine games to try?

TurboGrafx is awesome...I love mine...i don't play it much b/c finding games outside of eBay is a pain....
the TurboGrafx isn't region-free...I think it requires a modification to be region free? or an adapter..I can't recall 100%...but its one or the other.....but the PC-Engine is the best way to go anyway, there were ALOT more games for the PC-Engine versus the TG-16....
