I've been thinking whilst playing League Bowling and was wondering what everyone on the forum thought about a link cable for the handheld??now I know you can play 2 player when you have the dock & everyone that owns a NGX will own a docking station but what when you go to work or on holiday or somewhere without a dock and you decide to break out the NGX with your mates and fancy some 2 player fighting/shooting/sports action.ill probably get shot down for the idea but hey, let's hear it.

Hmmm, I'm not a big fan of link cables since you'll need 2 handhelds and probably 2 game cards too if you're playing a game that isn't built into the handheld. I think it would be a little impractical in my opinion. Anyway, as far as new accessories I'd like to see for the NGX, I think a Neo Geo CD style controller would be cool. The link shows a picture of the controller. commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Neo-Geo-CD-Controller2.jpg

That's a nice looking controller :-) I messaged Tommo with the idea of the link canke too and got a reply this morning that it would be passed on to the design team....which is more than I was expecting to be honest.maybe its worth mentioning the NGCD controller to them too??

Ah, that's interesting. New accessories would be nice, but I think I'd prefer more games and firmware updates over accessories. hehe.

I've also emailed regarding future game releases and firmware updates but have yet to hear a reply.its nice to know that Tommo are listening to the fans to see what we want.

Yeah, the fact that they released more games and an update for the Neo Geo X made me more interested in getting it...Speaking of updates, did you have any issues updating your Neo Geo X?

I heard about screen tearing and backwards stereo when the Neo Geo X is connected to a TV. So if there ever will be another update, hopefully they'll fix those.

Cant really comment on that neogenesis as I've yet to connect mine to the TV but I did think that alot of the issues were sorted in the newest update(500a) perhaps danthor or crujones4life can shed some light on this for you.

Actually, I did notice the screen tearing when I watched some videos on YouTube though I think it's definitely not too bad. It does get annoying if you try to concentrate on it, but I reckon when you're actually playing and having fun, it's probably harder to notice. hehe.

For me screen tearing is such a minor issue that I could care less if it ever gets removed/fixed. v500a is awesome! I need the entire Neo Geo catalog!

It would be nice to have the complete Neo Geo AES/MVS game lineup, though I reckon there probably might be some licensing issues with stuff like SVC Chaos (co-developed by Capcom) or Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble (Taito), since those aren't entirely SNK material and involve bigger companies. I'm not sure of course, but I guess that may be an issue.

Hope not as puzzle bobble/bust a move are great games and snk vs capcom Chaos is awesome and it would be great to have it on the handheld.in fact I've just got this for my ps2 to play again along with capcom vs snk for my GameCube.

Yeah, I played Bust-a-Move quite a few times in the arcade. I could never get too far though. haha. SVC Chaos would be cool since that has Street Fighter characters in it, and I'm a big "Street Fighter II" fan.
