My NGX kit from Aliexpress arrived yesterday and I keep getting a game card error. I bought a second sd card adaptor from SuperUFO and neither card adaptor works. I'm on 370 and I've tried 340 and 345. The card I got with the kit was a 16gb and was wondering if that could be the problem.
Doss anybody have any suggestions please?

When running the jailbreak I had to use a 1gb card.
Once jailbroken your 16gb card should be fine for holding ROMs.

I had a feeling that might be the problem. Now to find a 1gb card for less money than a 32gb card!! Lol

So only a 1GB card will work to jailbreak the neogeox with ngxtools? Has anyone had any luck with cards of higher capacity. The smallest card I have is 8gb

2gb cards work fine. 4gb cards are hit and miss. My current jailbreak card is 2gb.

Got my 1gb and it still doesn't work. Absolute piece of shit.
Does anybody have a link to 500a I can try please before I ebay it.

I had 500 firmware image but deleted it, due to the UK Pal output problems. I replaced it with the 500a jailbreak image, which has the UK composite fixed.

You could have one of the problem models, which won't upgrade. Folk had to send them back to Tomo. Hope not though.

Mine was a refurb from Funstock so I'd lay money it js one of the problem ones. All their ones are sold updated so they're probably banging out the ones that can't be done as refurbs.
It's not so much the ability to play copies it's more sorting out the shitty picture quality I'm bothered about.

We have a problem. I dont know what to suggest. I remember when Funstock was selling the xs on eBay refurbed and non upgradeable.
