Samurai Shodown III....why is this game so hard?

I can barely win a single round on beginner mode.. It's as if the AI is reading my mind. It blocks and counters everything I do.. I have played Samurai Shodown 1, 2 and 4 and they don't seem nearly as difficult as this one. Does anyone else agree?

I will second that.....i havent played SS3, but all these games seem crazy hard no matter what difficulty option i choose. I cant even tell a difference dude!
