Hi guys!
Over the weekend, I finally got around to upgrade the firmware of my NGX from 337 to 500. As I tried it, the NGX wouldn't actually recognize the firmware from the "NEOGEO X Classics Vol 4". The NGX Rocket cable would blinking blue and red and would not start the firmware update at all. I tried updating the firmware several times but i got the same result. is there anything i can do in order for the firmware update to work? or another way to do the upgrade? Please advise.
Thanks.

Make sure your rocket cable switch is on the "X". Sometimes it takes a few times (maybe more) to get it working.

It's actually supposed to blink blue and red while updating, but there should be something on-screen saying it's updating.

your 337 might not upgrade. There where some 337 units which where flagged by Tommo to be sent back for the upgrade.

The rocket cable is set on the X section. I see the blue and red blink but I do not see anything on my screen.
I hope my device is not one of those affected ones. :-(

Hmmm, maybe you have a defective game card. Maybe you could try having it replaced.

I was planning on buying another game card and see how it goes.
Thanks!
