Have any of you guys heard of this console?
www.wstore.com.ar/Get_Arcade.html
It's more like an emulator machine I guess. It plays Neo Geo games, etc. Looks like it has a SD card slot too. I wonder if you can use that for additional games. Also, it seems to use Sega Genesis style controller ports. It's from Argentina too. Looks interesting, though maybe a little pricy. It says $75 plus $22 shipping for the US. That's almost a hundred dollars.

Sounds like a consolized MAME.

That's what I'd like to use it for if ever I decide to get one, mainly for arcade games. I'm not sure if you can use SD cards for additional games though. If not, then that would be a deal breaker for me. There's not a lot about it online.

So after watching the video on the site, it looks like they are using FBA for all the emulation.

Yeah, I noticed the arcade games were in fba format. SFA3 seemed to be running faster than normal too on that video.

I think that's a bug with the emulation but there seems to be an option to slow down or speed up. I also noticed that it plays videos. Seems like a cool little device.

I wish I could find more information about it online. I was also looking up the Ouya. That one seems to have a lot of good emulators available for it, including ones for Neo Geo and NGPC.

That's cool. I might get one some time for use with emulators, and there's a game called "Ravensword" that looks like something I'd get into.

At the moment i use a app called nostalgia in my ouya.thats a prog. that shows every game boxart and every emu u have on the ouya and you can start the games with one easy click. Ravensword is quite nice.the only bad point is the lame and awfull controll of the character ^^

It somewhat reminds me of Morrowind which I played on PC before. How's the performance/framerate for Ravensword on the Ouya? Are there any other games on the Ouya that are similar to it?

i played it only for a half hour and the framerate is ok,but not more. I dont think it´s wise to spend money for it,there´s a lot more games to see 8bit dungeon, heroes of loot and so on and so on. Most of the time i play the good ol´retro games from my childhood.Right now i have the following emulators on my ouya and they all work perfectly or as close to the original as possible: GameBoy/GB-Color Commodore C64 Amiga 500/1200 GB Advance NES SNES Master System Game Gear Turbo grfx/PC Engine Mame Neo Geo Sega CD Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Neo Geo Pocket N64 Psx/PsOne Dreamcast

Nice. Have you ever tried using the NGX arcade stick on the Ouya? I was just wondering about that since I thought it'd be cool to play the Neo Geo emulator with the stick.

I dont have my ngx anymore, but i tried the Ps3/NGX Stick from my PS3,it worked on the NGX and on my Ouya now too.So i think it is possible that the NGX Stick will work as well.

Ah, that's good to know. If ever I do get an Ouya soon, I'd wanna try the stick out. I also heard that wireless PS3 controllers work with it.
