This arcade cabinet style docking station allows you to use the mounted arcade stick directly on the handheld itself (without the lag that occurs during video out). Want a bigger screen than the handheld's display? An optional larger LCD (secured to a new bezel) will be available that can be swapped with the current bezel and plugged into the handheld, so you will have the option of using the handheld's display (pictured) or a larger LCD display & amplified stereo with the same cabinet (the optional screen also makes this cabinet functional with an external PS3). I plan on making the (final) marquee a bit larger and will be backlight. You can still plug in a second controller through the back of the cabinet (and when playing directly on the handheld's LCD there is NO lag with the joysticks). The NGX stick is bolted to the cab (which is heavy enough to not move around during play), but can be removed if need be for button/joystick upgrades. The wood is high quality with melamine all around and black vinyl siding (I also have MVS red vinyl on hand if anyone wants red sides). These will be up (for sale) on my site in the next 24 hours. The price will be $299 for the whole setup: includes the cabinet with built in joystick and power adapter (no NGX handheld). I only have enough parts on hand for a very limited supply of these so if anyone here is interested you can PM me before they go up on my site and I'll make sure to reserve a cab for you from the first batch.

Pretty cool. How long did it take for you to make?

Several hours for each one (I have 3 built right now ready to ship). I actually just finished the first one with red vinyl sides (MVS style). You open it from the top... ... and insert the NGX into the cradle.
