I have gone back to Firmware V0.3-45-800, because the option to exit a game whilst using the dock with arcade stick has been removed. Im not pressing the dock every time to change a game.

Legacy, did you notice if screen tearing was addressed in that latest fw?

I feel that the latest firmware has much more slow down than 345. I don't like it at all. Just using 345 shows much improvement,so I'm sticking with it.
Also I am replacing all my 3d box art icons with new stock icons. Similar to the style on 500a and jailbreak images.
I am creating them as we speak. So watch this space.

Thanks for your feedback on that fw Legacy. Rad!! Can't wait to see what you're working on.

I was never expecting to see any further updates so this is positive.
Two key things to fix
1) screen tearing
2) credit insert button

Well, this was very strange but I bought a Neo Geo X from Funstock yesterday (I live in the UK).
It arrived today, all sealed etc.
I turned it on, pressed the menu button, and low and behold the Firmware is B0.4-5-gecf6931
I called Funstock (as they didn't send out a UK plug with the system) and I also mentioned about the Firmware.
They told me that is should have been 500/500a and that they didn't update it as their supplier does it for them.
Do you think Tommo themselves are Jailbreaking their own systems as a final one finger salute to SNK?
Sad thing is, I just bought the Mega Pack Vol 1 from the US as I wanted the extra games. As it turns out, all I really needed to do was buy the special SD Card adapter.
Oh well, at least I'll have the cool box :-)

The box is really awesome, especially if you are a collector of other consoles(SNK in particular).
A lt of love clearly went into the design of the box and instructions, so money well spent I say.

The same thing happened to me, but my firmware number reads V0.4-5 etc., instead of B0.4-5 etc. I got mine from Funstock about two weeks ago. I also only received a japanese power supply.

Funstock have been getting all the neogeo x limited edition supplies from superufo supplier. They will be installing the jailbreak update.

Ah, I see.
My next stop is Superufo actually as I need to get the SD card adapter.
I must say that not being able to quit the game does is frustrating :-( Also, how do you save your game when using the docking station or has that feature been removed too?

All I want is the ability to remap my SNES controls so the buttons aren't backwards.
