That's brilliant. I'll see if I can Amazon some over. Then I can try to make a pattern.
I'm off the next two days, so I might get excited and redo some of them to have the correct serial numbers/NGPC numbers.

The only thing with those, is that they're sized for Nintendo DS cases, so they'll need to be heavily edited to work with NGP snaplocks. Not impossible, just needs more effort!

The sad part (as I've come to discover) is that almost nothing fits the NGPC carts "just right." I still want to get some foam like omgngx suggested, but I haven't really found any. (Granted, I haven't looked very hard.)

chansterling, I am sure i'm not the only one interested in knowing exactly how you did the cassette cases for the NGPC games....did you remove the plastic spindles where the cassette reels were holding it in place? i'm sure you had to? or did you have to do any modifications to the case at all? I know I could just try putting a NGPC game in a cassette case, but I don't have a NGPC or any NGPC games...I got plenty of cassette tape cases though LOL

You do have to snap out the little spindle pieces. You have to be careful, otherwise you'll snap the whole case. I support the back of the case and the use my thumb to slowly apply pressure and snap the spindle. This kind of hurts, so I started wearing an oven mitt to make it easier!
As far as the art, I just fiddle around in photoshop (GIMP, actually) then convert them to PDFs, print them on index stock at FedExOffice, then cut to size. Pretty easy!

hmm...wonder if a Dremel tool would make it easier.....might make for a cleaner cut too......but really good going with the cases.....really good thinking

Thanks! I was actually inspired by a guy on Reddit.
I want to get foam to make the cases a little nicer, but I love them right now.

Was the DS case route an absolute fail? I wonder why that cover project thing suggested them and how they get them to fit.

The DS case isn't an absolute fail, I just don't like the idea that my carts would have *that* much wiggle room. I think it'll be easier to foam the cassette cases.
Most people prefer the DS cases as they will match their other DS games and they're roughly large enough to fabricate the original boxart. I was going more fore a nerdy vintage look for mine. To each their own!
