Its not too bad, 10 bucks, free shipping sorts it out, i bought these.. OBSF-24 I only bought 10, so will sort out both sticks and have a couple to spare Really looking forwards to getting this sorted.. The stick itself is pretty good now I've had a decent play with it. (that sounds bad doesn't it and i recon weight wise, it would do rather good to maybe change the stick ball ontop for better feel.. not sure yet. gonna keep the stick as is atm, until my buttons come in.

I have an original Neo Geo stick for my NGCD. The NGX buttons are pretty authentic, but the original stick itself feels more solid (the clicks feel are more satisfying).
Worth bearing in mind that the NGX stick is based on an design c25 years old and joystick tech has advanced in that time.

In the process of modding. Fitted the Seimitsu buttons. First time I've desoldered anything Went pretty good. Just added some fresh solder to the joints and a desoldering pump. Gonna solder the wires tomorrow and finding a way to securing the PCB.. probably going to use hot glue like another member here did. Attachments:

Cleaned up the board and connection points with electrical cleaning fluid and started soldering.. went pretty well (I think). At least my solder joints looks better than the factory made ones.. which looks like they were done by a 7-year old. Sadly, that might be the actual case. Attachments:

Finished it today. Bit of pain in the butt securing the board.. I opted for the heat glue solution, which worked out pretty good. Vanne: the buttons just pops in and sit there. Don't have the energy today to replace the springs in the stick.. I'm saving that for some other day. I'm happy with the result. No more squeaky buttons! Off to play some MSX

Good work on the custom sticks. Just wondering, does anybody have any experience with the Neo Geo PS3 2+ sticks working on the NGX? I know the regular PS3 Neo Geo stick 2 works but what about the 2+ which is the same, but includes a PS Home button on the top of the case as well.

^^I would like to know the answer to this questions as well?
The Neo Geo Stick 2 definitely works on neogeox. I'm not sure if the + works? It is just the added ps button as you stated.
The NeoGeoStick2 does not work on ps3 (backwards compatible edition) for ps2 games like samurai showdown anthology. That was disappointing to find out. I'm wondering if the + makes a difference.
