Hello all!
I'm thinking of buying a NeoGeoX console, but I have some questions:
-The NGX dock can output composite video, right? Everyone talks about HDMI, so I'm not sure... -Would I need only the NGX Pro-Card if I want to load my own games? -Related to the previous question, the ConvertX program by default embeds the Unibios 3.0 with the games, right? Could I direct it to embed a different version, or tell it to, for example, embed directly the stock Euro bios?
Thanks in advance!

- Yes, the NGX does output composite video. It comes with both composite and HDMI cables.
- Yes, you only need a pro card for more Neo Geo games on the default firmware
- I'm not sure about your 3rd question as I've never used that program you mentioned, so I'll let someone else answer that for you.

OK, thanks for the answers. About the last question, I found out that FBACache (and ConvertX by extension) simply adds the 'asia-s3.rom' bios (plus required NG drivers) to the game and calls it a day, so changing the default bios is just a matter of replacing the asia bios file with the desired bios.
EDIT: Another question: Is there a NGX-compatible pad out there? I'm not a fan of arcade sticks, so I would prefer to play with a pad.

To my knowledge, there isn't a gamepad that's directly compatible with the NGX, though one of our forum members here (omgngx) sold some adapters that lets you use Neo Geo CD gamepads. Alternately, you can just connect the NGX handheld itself to the TV and use it as the controller.
