Ok....I just heard there are some way to look into Ninja Masters SD Card and extract some information from there....but tried using several partition tools like Gparted with no success. Have anyone gained access to that already? =/

I've got a different problem to both. When I got my 370 NGX I noticed my Ninja Master's card didn't work. I assumed it needed the latest firmware to work (which didn't make sense because a standard NGX Gold package has no means to update the firmware). When I exchanged my NGX for a 500a NGX, the game still didn't work. I'm hoping Funstock will send a replacement or something.

Hi Everyone, For me there is a quite different problem...Ninja Masters has ran like a charm before apply the Jailbreak; however, after apply the hack my Neo Geo X was simply unable to open Ninja MAsterĀ“s game card, despite right icon appears on the screen....have someone faced the same issue? I just had an *.AES image generated for Ninja Masters and added into my HomeBrew SD X-Card, but, if there are any ways to keep up with Original Ninja MAsters SD Card that will be awesome. Any thoughts? Omgngx maged to overite his ninja masters card so it's possible folks, the NGX tool card will not work in the reader, so you wont be able to copy any games. You need a sdcard adapter, one that works in PC, then it will work in the NGX Tool card reader. No, mine works in the reader. I thought that was the whole point of the included reader/rocket cable so you can easily add games to your modded micro SD card. The reader works great with my ProCard2 and also lets me overwrite my official Ninja Master's game (I swapped the ROM for one with unibios and swapped the icon for one with a screenshot). You just need to make sure that the switch on the cable is in the "game" position.

Yup, I put 3 games on my Ninja Master's card using the XTool reader. Just follow the known 337/370 format (game1.fba, game1.png etc). They did block the old format with the new 500a firmware, so the stock Ninja Master's will not work anymore once you update (they should've included Ninja Master's on the Megapack, since they knew they were blocking it).

If your 370 did not recognize Ninja Master's you might have one of the defective units whose SD reader pins does not make proper contact with the SD card. I read that Funstock went through a bunch of bundles and that 1.5% of the bundles had problems reading the stock Ninja Master's game card.

The whole reason that the SD card hacks worked was because people figured out the folder name/structure of the Ninja Master's game card. Since there was basically no encryption on the Ninja Master's game, blocking the SD card hacks blocked Ninja Master's as well. 500 & 500a will not read Ninja Master's. I highly recommend getting a factory firmware 370/337 NGX as those have the best Neo-Geo emulation, you can also rewrite a Megapack card to work on a 337/370 firmware with the same games (like how I overwrote Ninja Master's).

I didn't know Ninja Masters didn't work with a v500. I never opened my Ninja Masters. Still sealed. hehe.
